Title: The Greater Good

Unfortunately due to events that transpired earlier in the week, Dan Amrich was unable to join us, but look for him on again in the future!

As a time traveler, you make it your mission to correct the global problems currently facing the planet.  By finding the links from past events, you travel to famous periods and locales in history, to put an end to such issues as global warming, genocide, extremism, water shortages, hunger, etc.  As you change the past to effect the future, you soon realize that you can’t solve them all, and some problems you cause might be worse than the ones you’ve solved.

This week we have special guest Matthew LoPresti, designer at Powerhead Games, developers of the new hit Glow Artisan for DSiWare!

You’ve done horrible things.  As a committer of the 7 cardinal sins, you seek redemption at your church.  In confessional you relive the horrors of your past, and gain purpose to correct them, but at what cost?  Suffer your sins and attempt to rectify them on your path to redemption.

This week we have special guest Gian Cruz, co-founder of FeelEveryYummy and designer on the new iPhone (soon to be iPad) title Bongo Blitz!

There is a VERY special giveaway in this episode: get a free copy of Bongo Blitz AND get your favorite song in the game!  There are two chances to win, so listen up and listen early!  Even if you think someone else might have claimed the codes, give it a shot :)

On a strange world thousands of years in the future, volcanoes with the power of replication are used to make food rain from the hevens!  When a spacecraft crash lands in Grubopolis, the main city, strange foods from a farway planet (Earth), are discovered.  Rather than hoarding the stash, the leader of this civilization decides to replicate the goods.  Many years pass, and the wrappers and plastics of these duplicate space foods begin to add up until one day someone decides to toss one into the volcano.  It disappeared!  Such becomes the trend, but unbeknownst to them, the replication clouds it was producing were delayed, dark, and ominous!  Become the new leader of this burgeoning civilization and go back to your roots, manipulate the planets gravity by tapping into it’s moons, and inspire social change within your people to save your planet!

Toys. Everyone loved them, but boy have safety standards become lax! As a customs sorting robot, its your responsibility to get safe toys into the market, and weed out hazardous ones. Will you take company bribes to an extreme and be forced to cover up at double speed when the factory gets raided? Will you be a beacon of righteousness and suffer company scrutiny when none of their product makes it into the channel? You decide!
